My family and I moved to the Washington, D.C. area from the South Pacific island of Papua New Guinea in 2014 to start a church on Capitol Hill. I immediately became enamored by the majestic buildings around the city--specifically the Capitol. 


I got my first DSLR camera for my 15th birthday and began carrying it everywhere with me trying to capture life just as I saw it.
